Seizures occur due to wide array of reasons starting from trivial head injuries and infections to complicated conditions like brain hemorrhages and tumours. Surprisingly there are patients with seizures without any structural problems in brain too! ( normal brain scan ). Cure depends on the type of condition and dependingly it may take few years or prolonged till the whole life. Proper diagnosis and drug selection with duration will decide the outcome.
