Hello Doc., My mother, 56, currently in her post covid recovery stage. She had HRCT score of 11/25. she has no comorbidities. Her Spo2 saturation is 96-98 %. It is her 18th day. She completed a 5 days course of Azithromycin 500 mg, Fabiflu, Doxy 100mg for 10 days, Ivermectin 12mg for 5 days and Methylpredisonol 8 mg for 12 days, Naxdom 500 mg 10 days. Her doctor didnot prescribe her any blood thinner. My question is 1) Do we need to continue Methylpredisonol? if no, then how we wean off/taper this medicine? 2) Do she need to follow any other medicine for pneumonia? I appreciate your answers.

1. Yes you can't suddenly stop steroids. Please consult your treating physician as he will guide you according to clinical assessment on how to taper. 2. No, just continue multivitamins.
