  4. Second degree burn. But it's so sore.

About 4 days ago I burnt myself with hot water straight out of the kettle I splashed with cold water but didn't hold for any amount of time it's very sore now and the top layer has come away showing a yellowish skin underneath it's so sore I'm just wondering how I can help the healing process as I've used nothing so far but it's so sore.
