Greetings. For the intensity of the fall and stitches, there is definitely going to be some scarring. You can apply cicatrix cream twice daily and massage over the affected area. Do this for a couple of months. Using steristrip dressing even after removal of stitches for up to three weeks will prevent scar from widening.
