My son sustained burn injury post which he has developed a scar which is elevated , red and causes itching to him . He sustained this injury in February 2016 and the wound has completely healed yet this elevated section continues to be there . We have been using silicone sheet for past 2 months but do not see any major change . Over and above this we also use silicone gel during the time when he goes to the school as silicone sheet could be a problem at his age . Please advise how this can be corrected
