Good evening Sir/Mam i am a mbbs student i had night itch 10 days ago and same was happening to my mother from earlier 15 days from that. so it seemed scabies. We both applied permethrin lotion twice and even took ivermectin 12 mg once later. and still there are little bumps and itch, itching is like pins. *no bumps in between fingers nor on genital* as applied permethrin there alot. The doubt is, No one else at home has it except us ,even we use same bed/sofa and live closely. now i am doubtful that can it be something else. i had same issue 2 years back Dr. diagnosed scabies, it lasted for 8 months even after applying permethrin many times pls Help.
