In the past 5 days I have noticed a high pitched ringing in both my ears...I thought it was the hum of a electronic device at first, but it wasn't. I mostly only hear it when its quiet, but I also slightly hear it at other times if I focus... I used to enjoy the silence, listen to all the small sounds around me and outside my home...now this high pitched ringing is all I can hear and think about. Is it all in my brain and has it always been there? Or is it possibly an underlying problem?
