You are most likely suffering from migraine which is very common in young females. But your father's history could be significant. And you should not take any chance and rule out an underlying aneurysm by doing an MR Angiography. Plz see your nearest Neurophysician.

Right sided pain later involving entire head with vomiting, and affected family members may be suggestive of migraine type of headache...In case your father's death was in his ripe old age, then the brain hemorrhage may not have any relevance to your current problem...However if he suffered an early demise, then you may be required to be evaluated in detail...
