Right hand numbness and pain while lying

Pain on Shoulder and arm on the right hand side since yesterday morning. Visited doctor and he gave pain killer injection and some medicine for gastric problem. Now the shoulder pain is better but pain on the right arm still persisting. Severe pain while laying down on the bed. Further i am facing numbness on the right hand.
