Hello Retina examination is done by indirect Ophthalmoscope We instill an eyedrop and ask patient to wait for some time... That drop dilates the pupil and retina is examined by indirect Ophthalmoscope There are many types of retina scans Kindly specify name of retina scan so that I may guide you better Regards
