The doctors say when retina starts detaching the symptom is feeling is of a curtain fallimg in vision. But does a person have that throighout, a curtain like black shadow in vision all the time or doea it just happened for second and vision becomes normal immediately

Hello If there is retinal detachment then this curtain like  feeling progresses and vision becomes progressively blurred If curtain like feeling is present whole day and it is not progressing then there are less chances of detachment Kindly get your retina examined
