Can Epidymorchitis curable? Or serious Male, 22 I have diagnosed with right testicle Epidymorchitis with swollen epidymis and swollen lymph near groin and paraarortic lymphadenopathy in usg abdomen is it curable with medicine or I need surgery to remove testicles? Will it turn into malignant like cancer? Or is it serious problems? Answer From Dr. Sai Krishna Konatham Well para aortic lymphadenopathy is uncommon in case of epidydymorchitis so we need to rule out testicle malignancy by other tests Thanks for the reply doctor, what does it means? Does it means I have Testicle malignancy? Am I victim of testicle cancer if my paraaortic lymphnodes are swollen? Pls reply im tensed

U can get testicular cancer markers done.. take antibiotics for a week ... It's extremely rare to have para aortic nodes involved when u have a single orchitis.. but we can't say it's impossible.. so hope for the best and get the tumour markers for testicular cancer.. AFB, LDH, beta HCG... Swollen groin nodes are .. are they painful or hard when u touch it?

You need not worry about it Try taking antibiotics In the mean while we can get other tests done which rules out malignancy Testicular malignancy at this age is not commonly seen
