My mother passed away due to heart attack and her ecg and lipid profile was completely normal.i feel so embarrassed and my earlier thought was like when ecg is normal we don't have to worry about heart.why this happen and why ecg fail to diagnise heart attack.

I am sorry for your lost. ECG suggests the condition of heart when the ecg is done at that instant...it could change even after half hour if a new heart attack comes.
