Regarding taking letrozole

Hi , I have irregular periods and found out I'm not ovulating. The doctor did ultrasound sound scan and blood tests..but all the test results came out normal . No PCOS or No Pcod and No thyroid either. My doctor has advised me to take Letrozole without having done the fallopian tube test. Can I be taking letrozole for conception before getting a fallopian tube test done ? And is it advisable to take Letrozole ? Does it help me conceive ? Thank you.
