You need to consult a proper dietitian and take a diet chart and follow accordingly. If you are following the correct diet, your
sugar levels will remain normal and you shouldn't be having any hunger pangs. If diet is not keeping your sugar levels at an optimum level of fasting of less than 100, and 2 hour post meal of less than 140, you may need to go on anti-diabetic medications. If the baby gets too big because of the diabetic status of the mother, then you may have to undergo a Caesarean section. If you are already up to date with your tetanus vaccinations then you have to take a final dose of Tdap vaccine in your third trimester.
