My father's is 63 years old and his post meal suger is 73 then it is necessary to take suger tablet.Doctor given Zita met 20/500 tablet for him.I think that my father's suger is normal then why to take this tablet,why doctor dose not stop the suger tablet's.He also have bp and thyroid

If his sugar levels are normal antidiabetic medicines can be reduced. Also the cause for same needs to be found out.
