Mild TR (tricuspid regurgitation) is very common and often a normal finding. It doesn't typically progress to moderate without an underlying cause. The elevated pulse of 110â125 on walking suggests your heart is working harder â this could be due to fitness level, anxiety, or anaemia rather than the TR itself. Mild TR alone usually doesn't cause this.
Next Steps
Get a repeat echo after 6â12 months to check if TR has progressed. Also get
thyroid (
TSH) and CBC to rule out anaemia or thyroid issues causing the fast heart rate. Consult me on Practo for review of reports.
