Usually hair that fall are in the resting phase. Hair in the resting phase lose colour in their roots and hence look white. You are probably suffering from telogen effluvium. This is related to a variety of conditions, stress, illness(fever, sore throat, jaundice, urinary infection, throat infection etc.). It could also be due to hormonal changes (
thyroid disorder or androgens). Nutritional problems like iron or
vitamin deficiency can cause this. It will require a detailed evaluation (blood tests) to find out the cause. Please visit a dermatologist near you for the same. If you have dandruff you could use an anti dandruff shampoo available commercially and see if it decreases the hairloss. Try it for atleast a month along with biotin supplements. Warm regards.
