Regarding eye drops
Threee Questions I want to ask please.
1) Sir recently I suffered from allergy in my eyes then my doctor has given Olopat eye drop for twise a day. I used this eye drop almost for 2 months regularly. I want to ask that is this Olopat drop is *steroid eye drop* ?
2) Which is best lubricating eye drop I can use which has no side effect and best soothing effect.
3) I have Maxmoist lubricating eye drop. How is this and does it has any side effect?

Hi.
Olopat is Olopatadine, a topical anti allergic medicine which is an Antihistamine. It is NOT a steroid.
2. Most Lubricating drops are generally good. There isnt any that is bad.Some to consider are ECOTEARS/GLYTEARS/REFRESH LIQUIGEL/LUBREX.
3.Lubricating drops like maxmoist generally dont have any side effects. So, if you are comfortable after using them, you can continue to use them.
