Hello dr recently I have done lateral internal sphincterotomy surgery under with ms with general anesthesia but I have question in my mind before i cunsult with proctologist another doctor and he said in fissure surgery via laser u need dressing clean after surgery but in present doctor who done surgery he didn't done dressing clean nothing it so what different in both of them?

Any Surgery in anal region Need to maintain good hygiene no need of regular dressing

To avoid infection proceeded with sitz bath which means taking a big tub filling with warm water add 10 to 15 ML of betadine sit in the tub for 15 minutes three times a day
