I am experiencing redness with lesions over my lips since December. The small pimple/boils release yellow coloured fluid. It is reoccurring every week from last 3 weeks. It makes my skin very irritable and it involves the corners of my lips making it quite difficult for me to talk and eat. My sister experienced the same and was diagnosed with HSV-1. My doctor said I have liplick dermatitis but it has worsened from the treatment for the same. I was on Acyclovir as well (400 mg 3 times/day for 5 days). But my symptoms came back again. What should I do? Whom should I seek for treatment?
