Red bump on head

My baby is 3 month's old. She has a red bump on head. We noticed this from day 6. Pediatrics told me that is a hemangioma. Should I worry about that? And what is the treatment for that? I have attached the picture.

Hemangioma is nothing to worry. If it grows in size it will require treatment. For further queries kindly book an online appointment with me. Take care!

Hemangiomas usually stop growing in size from 5-6 months and may stay the same size or disappear over time. By 10 years, they usually disappear. It is not life threatening. If it increases in size, it may require treatment. Book an appointment with me to discuss further. You can follow me on Instagram @pediatrician_india for more helpful tips ! Take care !
