Hello Doctor, I have a torn earlobe and I'm considering earlobe repair surgery. I would like to know: 1. How long does the surgery usually take? 2. How long does it take for the earlobe to heal completely? 3. After how many weeks or months can I wear earrings again? 4. Will there be a visible scar after the surgery? 5. Are there any precautions I should follow during recovery? Thank you.

it will take a 1 hour procedure and it will heal within 3 weeks and after 6 to 8 weeks you can start wearing earings again the scar will be less if sutured properly and you can followup first time after 10 days and then after 2 months

Ear lobe repair is a minor procedure. It takes roughly half hour for both ears. Its is advised to wear earrings after 12 weeks . The scar is very minutely visible. Maintain hygiene of surgery site post repair

It's minor procedure. It will take half an hour. After 10 weeks you can do piercing again. Maintain hygiene. Minor scar will be visible.
