You can use  glass prescription if it is given by an ophthalmologist and  if they have done dilated retinoscopy and  PMT,  if not go for complete checkup and then buy glasses. Don't use ur brother glasses

If you are 35 years of age then you cannot have a reading glass i.e. near glass prescription. In most cases near glass prescription is required only after the age of 40. For anyone needing a near correction less than 40 years, it simply means that you have hypermetropia and you need a proper dilated refraction and glasses for constant use.
