My husband left side neck swollen painless behind ear, a fine needle test suggest by ENT specialist. In the report Microscopy said: there is no evidence of cassation, granuloma & malignancy. Impression: reactive lymphoid aspirate Advice : excision if clinically suspicious for Koch's What does this report means??? Please advise... Also between this test two weeks antibiotics also taken and the swollen lump is reducing...

He seems to be having lymph node enlargement in the post auricular region. Usually it occurs secondary to infections of areas around the ear such as scalp, nose or throat, ear canal etc. Usually course of antibiotics and treatment of primary cause is sufficient
