Can radiation therapy to the spine cause damage to the spine? Especially in case of a partial paraplegic patient with atrophy in the spine from D8 to D10.

No, it does not cause damage to the spinal cord since the tolerance of spinal cord won't be reached by the regular dose given by the oncologist and radiation to the vertebra is given to reduce the pain and symptoms caused due to cord compression.
