Hello, I am providing some context, I was bitten by a dog on 10th June evening. The wound is on the lower leg above ankle. I have been experiencing some mild fever , lethargy and body ache since 11th June. I was vaccinated for Rabies back in Feb-March (last day of vaccination -14th March ). However, out of the 5 vaccines I took, 1 or maybe 2 max were administered in the glutal region and remaining in deltoid region, that is against WHO advisory. I was advised by a physician that my dosage is sufficient I shouldn't take any more dosage. I took another gluteal booster shot (despite repeated requests to nurse and I took one today on 14th June in Deltoid. I am scared about these symptoms, I am losing sleep and very anxious and stressed. Is my vaccination enough for Rabies protection?
