Question on 2nd Vaccine Dose

2021-05-07 07:28:49
Hello Doctors, This question is for my father who is close to 70 and had already got 1st vaccine shot on March 4th. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 positive on April 10th and currently in recovered stage at home. His symptoms were mild. Now since we have crossed 60 days after his 1st vaccine and he tested positive in between, when we should plan for 2nd dose ? Should we wait few more days or he cam take 2nd dose now? Please suggest , Thanks in advance.

do covid 19 iGG and IGM antibodies test. then if he got igg antibodies positive. no need of vaccine now... if he is not having antibodies, you can take vaccine time period max 8weeks from 1st dose.
