I want to ask that SGPT test is always high in Duchenne mascular distrophy pateint at the time of birth or within 48 hours.and  Normal SGPT test can rule out Duchenne mascular distrophy.

Hello SGPT is high in DMD patients but it’s normal levels doesn’t rule out DMD Serum CK (creatine kinase) is a better and more sensitive test towards diagnosis if clinical suspicion is high
