Dear doctor My wife has was tested covid positive, and she has completed her 14days home quarantine. Can she cm out from quarantine and be normal. Is she has to do any covid test again, and second thing is our family doctor has prescribed Dexsona 0.5mg. is this good to take

Will answer your question in 2 parts 1. Usual protocol is when one is Positive, is to go for isolation for 17 days from the day of onset of symptom and it is safe to do a Covid Rapid Antigen test on 18 th day to break the isolation. 2.Steroids are usually indicated for Covid patients in Moderate to Severe category and with symptoms like severe persisting cough, breathing difficulty, declining oxygen saturation. Usually asymptomatic and mild category patients doesnt need oral or inhaled steroids.

If she’s not having any symptoms then she can come out from quarantine but take extra precautions, If she’s asymptomatic no need of any further tests. Regarding dexona: I need to ask some questions

No need for repeat testing. If she's asymptomatic for the past ten days, she can come out of quarantine. Dexamethasone is not required at this point. For further clarification, take a consult. :)
