Pus pimple breaking

I had a big pus filled pimple on my face for a 1 month plus. did zady 500 mg (Azithromycin) for 6 days one tablet daily. and yday and today almost all pus came out of it and its flat now on skin. Do i have to take more antibiotics or i can just continue with fusidic acid cream and peroclin 2.5% gel which was prescribed to me ?

Consult Now
You can change antibiotic to amoxiclav and take a course..but consult dermatologist.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. I would suggest you to continue your antibiotic course but just change the antibiotic to tab. Gudcef-plus twice a day for 3 days after food. After three days you can just stay on topical treatment till it heals. Also, consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. If there's no pus coming at all now, then continue using the topical medications till it heals completely. However if there's still pus coming out, then it better you take another course of antibiotics. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
