Hello in medical terminology v call it paronychia there is a whitish to yellowish pus collection in the nail bed which is usually very painful and tender n local temp is raised.. U need antibiotics for it n pain killers if not resolved may need incision n drainage if treatment is delayed.. Hope u vl b benefited....
