My pup bit me on my thumb when it was just 3 weeks old. It was a very small scratch but it bled a little. I did not take any vaccine at that time. Now it has been 9-10 years. My dog is in its old age. But thinking about that bite is making me nervous. I am losing my sleep over this. I am always anxious. What should I do now?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  If the dog had rabies, he wouldn't have lived for so long and even the dog wouldn't have lived. So stop worrying about it. If you want, you can take a course of rabies vaccine for protection in future. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
