Pulse rate is above 100 for 58 year old

Hi, I am monitoring my father's pulse rate with a pulse oxymeter and it seems to be varying from 100-106 at rest itself. He has few medicals conditions, Diabetes and Hypertension and he is under medications for those. His current blood sugar levels are 92 before breakfast and 185 afterwards. His blood pressure is 125/85. My question is if the pulse rate is normal for his age and conditions or should I be worried?

Your father's blood pressure and sugars are under control. Normal heart rate is between 60 to 100 beats per min. Your father's heart rate is slightly on the higher side. Keep a track of his heart rate if its persistently high you need to get evaluated to find the cause of elevated heart rate.
