My 2.5 year old, while eating puffed rice, put one rice bit in to her nose. Is that going to cause any issues?

Any foreign body in the nose can be site for foreign body reactions and infections. It is advisable to get it removed if it is still present inside the nose. If it is not removed your child will start to have foul smelling discharge and bleeding from nose after few days
