Hello ! I think you are asking about PTK/ PRK that is photorefractive keratectomy . It's a laser based procedure done on the cornea for various purposes like giving the patient freedom from glasses, removing superficial scars/ spots from the cornea and in a condition known as corneal dystrophy. By far PRK is a safe procedure .
The cost will vary from centre to centre - could be around 35000 per eye .
However, the treating ophthalmologist will have to do a detailed examination of your eyes and a couple of scans before deciding if you are fit for PRK
