Hi , I did a urine routine Test And I Came to Know That There Is Protein Present In My Urine...So My Question Is Is it Because Im Taking Protein Supplements?? Because It wasn't present in the Test I Did A Month Bacm When I wasnt taking Supplements...I started taking protein supplements from 15 days earlier and now protein is present in my urine...so is it because the Supplements? Thanks,Have a good day!

Protein supplements do not cause proteinuria. Ideally urine must be devoid of any protein. But during fever, infection, prolonged standing or vigorous exercise, trace amounts of protein may be present in the urine. If the proteinuria is more than ++ , it implies serious kidney disease.
