As your husband is 60 yrs old it is common to have an enlarged prostate at his age. This may cause difficulty in passing urine as enlarged prostate puts pressure on the urinary passage (urethra). This is known as benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

Get a USG done to check the prostate size. Consult a surgeon as they deal with BPH.
