My dad had frequent urination problem doctor suggeted abdominal scan report said prostrate englargment. Doctor prescribed silodal d8 for one month . Urination problem is not resolved even after taking medicine.Is it necessary to undergo surgery or same tablet should be taken for another 2 month

Silodal d helps to relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine and lower urinary tract infection related symptoms but it does not decrease the size of the prostate. Is there only frequent urination or else does he have burning micturition? Can u please mention the size of prostate
