Sensitivity of teeth after prophylaxis is very common, specially with the lower front teeth. This a transient phase which normally last from 2-7 days, sometimes even more (varies from person to person). DR. SAURABH SHINGNAPURKAR (MDS) Consulting Periodontist and Implantologist
Next Steps
You can change your toothpaste and switch to a desensitizing toothpaste such as Colgate Sensitive plus/ Sensodyne Repair and protect/ Shy-NM Use the toothpaste for atleast 14days, twice daily. Sensitivity will come down gradually.
Health Tips
Please don't quit your treatment midway and get it completed. You can consult a Periodontist (Gum Care Expert) if the sensitivity persist

You need to consult specialist and diagnose the issue and then get the treatment done. Quitting treatment is not the solution , The problem won't get solved by it.
Next Steps
Use some sensitive toothpaste to reduce the sensitivity .
Health Tips
Oral prophylaxis is recommended for everyone once a year at least

Hi, Sometimes tertb go sensitive after profy appointment which is a transient phase. You should settle down in less than a week. It is not a good idea to quit treatment in between
Next Steps
If sensitivity continues, you can think of taking x-ray of that area
