Can prolactin test be done any day or it also needs to be done on day 2 or day 3 of the cycle like fsh n LH ? Is it so that prolactin level is at peak on getting up in the morning and slowly falls down 3-4 hrs after getting up in the morning?

Prolactin hormone changes during the day and also depends on the stress levels at that time. It has variations during the day but doesn't depend on the day of cycle. It should be done in morning
