Can I take a pregnancy test when I am bleeding? Since I have got my periods six days late which has never happened before

Yes you should and the best test would be beta HCG in blood as that is surest test,though you can do a urine test too and take care to leave the strip for 8-10min undisturbed once u put urine and see for a faint line too to be sure.
