I am completing my 1st 8th month pregnancy. Yesterday i hd sudden sharp pain in lower right side of abdomen. My gyne did PV nd said i am 1 in dilated. Is it issue of any worry as i hv nt completed my 8th month yet. What shud i do. Pl suggest.

If u are 1cm dilated and hv not completed ur 8th month. U should be on tocolysis..that s medication to stop ny preterm labour. Also a vaginal swab for culture to rule out ny infection. U cn connect with me directly if u need a second opinion .
