I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and my gynaecologist has recommended an elective c-section. So she asked me to take two doses of 12mgs Betnesol injections 24hrs apart. I am not diabetic, my thyroid level is at 4.57 and my blood pressure is at 140/80. Will it be safe to take the injections now? Wound the baby be affected in long-term?
