I am 16 weeks pregnant today my doctor gave me TT injection. What is TT injection? Is it safe in pregnancy?

Tetanus injection is mandatory in pregnancy a second dose of TT or T dap will be given to you after a gap of 40 days

Hi. Inj Tt is must in preg . 2 doses are given 6 weeks apart . It is to protect the newborn from tetanus infection .
