My friend has 40 day pregnancy doubt Bec. Urine test positive 3 time and sonography at 40 day negative and even she has passed menstrual cycle before 10 day, till urine test positive come What she do? What's possible reasons?

It could be a delayed pregnancy where pregnancy will be seen in uterus after another 5 days if the internal scan is done. Or it could be an ectopic pregnancy. This can be made out by serial blood tests.

Hi, inspite of getting period and negative ultrasound , positive urine pregnancy test, needs Serum beta HCG testing. If it comes positive, further investigations to rule out ectoplc pregnancy or malignancy are mandatory. If beta HCG is negative, forget everything and enjoy.
