I would like to postpone my periods to attend a family function. Since I'm breastfeeding to my 1.5yrs old baby please suggest me a natural method to postpone periods.

No natural in my knowledge better consult to gynecologist because you are breast feeding . Breast feeding itself good contraceptive but it should be in regular manner.
