Postpartum thyroiditis
I had my C-section around 4 months back . During my pregnancy TSH was 4 in August so I started having Thyronorm 25 mcg (for around 6 months) and then stopped after delivery. I'm not having any medications now. Now my TSH level has gone down to 0.02 . I do not have any symptoms for hyperthyroid. SHOULD I take any medications for hyperthyroidism or this is a temporary condition??
Hello.. U have not provided your T3 and T4 values but assuming its normal, u need to repeat T3T4TSH along with anti TPO after 6 weeks again.... If persistently TSH is suppressed u need to investigate.... At present don't take any thyroid medication!!

As the TSH 0.02 looks like u have subclinical hyperthyroidism. This may be a transient phase where thyroid is going to increase and become hyperthyroidism or my reduce to become hypothyrodisum or may remain same for some time. Going by the report need not take any treatment as of now. What can b done is can do thyroid antibodies test and wait for 6 weeks and repeat the test and treat if necessary depending on the report.
