I am assuming that you have been diagnosed with PTSD by a professional. PTSD is a type of anxiety disorder wherein certain emotional dysfunctions develops in relation to a trauma manifesting with physical and psychological symptoms of anxiety. It is common and treatable. A holistic approach is taken to treat PTSD. Medicine although is important in moderate to severe cases, it is still only a part of the whole treatment plan. More focus should be given to psychological treatment like cognitive behavior therapy, lifestyle modifications, addressing any other issues like physical health or stresses etc.
