I had a splenectomy 2 months back. Now i can see there is a red swelling of skin on the stitched area. Is this mark permanent or will heal with time ?

Hello welcome brother The scar is now in the stage of hypertrophic scar, soon it may become keloid formation You need steroids injection locally to heal this. Before that you can try some ointment for massage to heal this without steroids Kindly contact me for further clarification and better advice
